| Frequently Asked Questions Q: How long does it take to recover my data? A: It can take as little as 30 minutes or 4 days, depending on the size and media involved. It is equally dependent on whether we need to send the media to our UK office for complex recovery. Q. In the event of a fire incident, can you still recover from the salvaged hard disk? A: We will have to make initial assessment to see what is recoverable. There have been situations where we have recovered data from such situations in the past. Q: Do you really recover from all Operating System? A: Yes Q: For complex data recovery, must you take my drive abroad? A: Not in all cases. Those we could handle in Nigeria, we will resolve. Those we can not handle, we will first use our technical partners' remote recovery facility (through modem/internet connection). It is if this is unable to recover the data that we will need to take the drive out of the country. Q: So what about privacy of my data? A: Your data is secured and safe. We undertake not to divulge client's sensitive data to any third party. We have a strict in-house data protection and confidentiality policy in place. Q: What precisely do I do if my data 'appears' irrecoverable? A: First, dont panick. Next do not attempt to recover it yourself, else you may end up complicating the recovery process. And finally, get across to us for intial assessment, even if it is just a floppy diskette that is involved. Q: I am outside Lagos, will you come if I need your services? A: Yes, anywhere you are within West Africa, we will get across to you Physically within 24 hours of contact. Q: Is there a time or day that you dont handle recovery?
